Hi, I’m Joel, solo dev and founder of the imaginatively titled Joel J Games, game studio.

Based in Manchester, UK, I'm a long time Gameboy player and collector.

I’ve been dabbling with game development in my spare time, for my beloved pea green screen, starting in lockdown 2021 with the first Tales of Monsterland, a homage to classic 8-bit platform games like Wonderboy and Kirby I grew up with.

Immediately after this was finished and published, I started my second game (currently in development), Fall from Space, a non linear, ambitious open world Sci-fi Action RPG. Play the full first planet over on it's Itch.io page.
